Bowling

Ten pin bowling has always been and will always be my first love. I first played at the tender age of 8, after going to a birthday party. I loved it so much, when I heard that a junior league was starting up, I begged my parents to take me. Lo and behold, a bowler was born. 17 years later, I’m still playing, still loving it and still as frustrated with it as ever. Bowling has not come naturally to me and I have struggled with various injuries and ailments over the years, including several stints playing with both my legs in plaster, damaged ligaments in my elbow, various bouts of tendonitis in my wrist and back pain. Although there have been occasions where I have pulled out of tournaments or league play, I hasten to add that these have been injury related and even then, very rare. What can I say? I love to bowl.
